CONFIGURATION

eduroam configuration for staff - Windows 10

Use your complete University of Bialystok e-mail address, for example j.kowalski@uwb.edu.pl. Staff authentication uses PEAP with EAP-MSCHAP v2.

1Create the wireless profile

Open Control Panel, go to Network and Sharing Center, select Set up a new connection or network, then Manually connect to a wireless network. Enter eduroam, select WPA2-Enterprise and AES.

2Configure PEAP

Open the profile properties, select the Security tab and choose Microsoft: Protected EAP (PEAP). Use EAP-MSCHAP v2 as the inner authentication method. Disable the option that automatically uses the Windows logon name and password.

3Connect

Select eduroam from the Wi-Fi list and enter your complete UwB e-mail address and current password.

Certificate security: verify that the authentication server is radius.uwb.edu.pl. Do not approve a connection that shows a different server name.
